The introduction of the '37th Surajkund International Crafts Mela' has notably boosted tourism in Faridabad, Haryana. The United Republic of Tanzania was participating as the ‘Partner Nation’ and it would bring colours and vibes of Africa to the festival.
Surajkund Mela Theme 2024
The Surajkund Crafts Mela 2024 will be adorned with the vibrant hues of Gujarati culture, as Gujarat takes center stage as the theme state for this edition. The fairgrounds will be adorned with decorations and stalls inspired by the rich traditions of Gujarat. Notably, Gujarat had previously been honored as the theme state back in 1997. In the previous edition of the Surajkund Craft Mela held in 2023, the spotlight shone on eight states, namely Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura.
